ZSi-Foster, a manufacturer and supplier of clamping, coupling, and strut products headquartered in Canton Township, today announced the acquisition of New Jersey steel component manufacturer Versabar. Terms of the deal, which closed on Sept. 24, were not disclosed.
Versabar has been engineering and manufacturing steel components for more than 70 years, and has among the widest offering of strut fittings and accessories available in the market, including stainless steel, steel, hot-dipped galvanized, hot-rolled, and zinc-plated products. Located in Totowa, N.J., Versabar provides access to New York City and the broader northeast markets.

ZSi-Foster, recently acquired by Ideal Tridon, serves a diverse set of end markets by offering highly engineered clamp, coupling, and support systems. With the recent addition of Florida Strut and now Versabar, the company is positioned to serve customers who need quality steel fittings and accessories anywhere and anytime, says the company.
