Canton Township’s Mans Lumber and Millwork, which specializes in lumber, millwork, decking, kitchens, and baths, has acquired Ypsilanti’s Washtenaw Door and Trim. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Washtenaw Door and Trim specializes in custom doors, moulding, stairs, and hardware and has served the greater Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti area since 1974. It is located four miles from the Mans headquarters, showroom, and lumberyard in Canton Township.
“I’m truly excited to be combining forces with Mans, which allows me to provide even more service and selection to my clients,” says Laura Spear, owner of Washtenaw Door and Trim. “For more than 100 years, the Mans family has excelled at offering the highest-quality service and products, and my staff and I are honored to become part of the Mans team.”
All Washtenaw Door and Trim staff will be retained.
“We are truly honored to have Laura Spear and Washtenaw Door and Trim become part of the Mans family,” says Doug Mans, president of Mans. “Laura’s reputation for providing the highest level of customer service and products is well-known in the community, and we have the highest respect for her values and success.”
