The Cadillac brand of General Motors Co. in Detroit will reveal its 2022 V-Series Blackwing ultra-high-performance sedans via livestream at cadillac.com on Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. and immediately afterward begin taking reservations for the vehicles, which will be available in limited quantities in late summer 2021.
Complete vehicle details on both the CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V Blackwing will unveiled during the livestream reveal event.
Starting at 7:30 p.m. on cadillac.com, customers can use the Reserve Yours page to reserve one of the first 250 CT4-V Blackwings or 250 CT5-V Blackwings. Given their limited quantity and collectability, all V-Series Blackwings are VIN-sequenced by year, model, and transmission.
Customers who make reservations through the Reserve Yours page will receive the available high-performance steering wheel commemorated with a serialized plate. The plate will be etched with a five-digit portion of the vehicle’s VIN sequence.
“Just like fine jewelry comes with engraved serial numbers, we’re treating these V-Series Blackwing vehicles with the same level of exclusivity,” says Brandon Vivian, executive chief engineer at Cadillac. “These are meticulously crafted products with incredible attention to detail, and we’re excited for enthusiasts to start experiencing the cars for themselves.”
The Reserve Yours opportunity requires a $1,000 refundable reservation. If interested customers are not able to successfully reserve one of the first 250 of their preferred model, they will have the opportunity to sign up for a waitlist and will be contacted by their dealer as soon as more vehicles become available.
Included in the purchase of a CT4-V Blackwing or CT5-V Blackwing, customers will receive a two-day experience at Cadillac’s V-Series Academy driving school at the Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club in Pahrump, Nev.
