As part of a new promotion, Cadillac is offering access to its V-Performance Academy, a Nevada-based driving experience, with the purchase of any of its 2017 high-performance, V-Series models: 2017 Cadillac ATS-V Sedan, 2017 ATS-V Coupe, and 2017 Cadillac CTS-V Sedan.

The V-Performance Academy is designed to serve as a finishing school for performance driver training, and will offer a Skid Pad, a Slalom, and numerous steering exercises. Coaching will be personalized to each driver, and track time and post-track time data analytics will be available.

Those who participate in the V-Performance Academy, located at Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club near Las Vegas, will receive ground transportation to and from Las Vegas McCarran Airport, lodging for two nights at the Spring Mountain luxury condominium resort, breakfast and lunch, and two days of training in their 2017 V-Series model of purchase.

“The V-Series are the most-track capable Cadillac models ever, using exclusive technologies tuned by a select group of dedicated engineers,” says Brandon Vivian, executive chief engineer at Cadillac. “These technologies, such as Magnetic Ride Control, Performance Traction Management software, and the Performance Data Recorder, set the Cadillac ATS-V and Cadillac CTS-V apart from all other luxury cars and are the tools drivers will experience at the V-Performance Academy.”

Customers can register online for the experience after purchasing a 2017 V-Series model. The V-Performance Academy program may also be purchased as a stand-alone experience. The academy allows general admission access for one guest, with an additional fee to add an additional driving guest.

Cadillac also offers a single-day V-Performance Lab driving experience, which is held at various racetracks across the country.

This year, V-Performance Labs will be held at Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, Conn., and Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. The program includes specialized training sessions, timed challenges, and in-car video with personalized data analysis.
