Buick Announces Redesigned 2022 Enclave

Today, Buick announced the 2022 Enclave, adding to its premium SUV lineup, updating the design, and adding more standard safety features, and providing drivers with connectivity, passenger and cargo versatility, and high-performance.

Today, Buick announced the 2022 Enclave, adding to its premium SUV lineup, updating the design, and adding more standard safety features, and providing drivers with connectivity, passenger and cargo versatility, and high-performance.

“The 2022 Buick Enclave’s enhancements elevate the design and driving experience that premium SUV customers have come to expect and appreciate,” says Duncan Aldred, vice president of Global Buick and GMC. “After nearly 15 years as one of the segment’s pioneering premium SUVs, the Enclave continues to reward customers by offering more style and substance.”

Under the hood it will feature a 310-horsepower, 3.6-liter, V-6 engine; nine speed automatic transmission; and available all-wheel-drive.

The new standard safety package on the Enclave includes automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, lane change alert with side blind zone alert, rear parking assist, forward collision alert, following distance indicator, rear cross traffic alert, and IntelliBeam auto high beams.

The wheel portfolio has been updated on the exterior, along with a redesigned front fascia, grille, and headlamps, and back fascia. It will be offered standard and in a Sport Touring grille and 20-inch wheel package.

Buick also redesigned the center console with push-button electronic transmission range select, available heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats. It also states all interior materials are soft to the touch.

The Avenir trim package offers a unique front and rear fascia, grille, body-color lowers, taillamps, liftgate emblem, and wheels on the outside. Inside, the trim adds a new seat patten with piping and chrome cargo sill plate. This model also includes adaptive cruise control and continuous damping control for the suspension in the performance area.

Add-on features include a full-color heads-up display, rear pedestrian alert, and a rear camera monitor. The vehicles release date and price point have not been announced.
