Blossom Ridge, a senior living community in Oakland Township, has opened. Moceri Cos. in Auburn Hills created the campus.
The 44-acre village is located at the corner of Adams and Dutton roads and will serve the Rochester, Bloomfield, Birmingham, and Troy areas. It will offer 80 independent living units and 20 assisted living units in its residence hall, as well as 89 cottages, duet homes, and ranches. Dominic J. Moceri, partner of Moceri Cos., says 70 percent of the units are pre-leased.
“Leases are currently available on a wide range of styles from spacious cottages, paired duet homes, and ranches with screened porches. All of these home styles include 1- or 2-car attached garages,” says Frank Moceri, partner and master builder with Moceri Companies. “The Grand Residence is a beautiful two-story brick and limestone building, which is wrapped around expansive open courtyards, terraces, gardens, and an indoor pool.”
Beaumont Health has partnered with the community and will provide on-site, physician-staffed clinics; health and wellness education; motion and balance classes; and screening and prevention programs.
The Blossom Ridge staff will work to keep residents connected with their neighbors, community, and families. It offers Petals, a full-service salon and spa; indoor and outdoor pools; a 20-acre park with paved trails; water features; pickleball and bocce ball courts; fitness studios for exercise, yoga, and movement classes; a technology studio; a performance theater; an art studio; and other amenities. Fine and casual dining options will also be available through the Andiamo Collection, which includes Joe Muer Seafood.
