Bloomfield Hills’ O2 Investment Partners Invests in Wireless Deployment Company

O2 Investment Partners, a Bloomfield Hills-based private equity firm, has made an investment in CCSI Networks, a Broadview, Ill.-based company that provides wireless network deployment services to the telecommunications industry. Terms of the investment were not disclosed.

Formed through the merger of Callahan Communication Services, Four Leaf Construction, and CCSI Design, CCSI Networks provides wireless network development and deployment for wireless carriers, multiple-system operators, fiber competitive local exchange carriers, original equipment manufacturers, venue owners, and managers.

Company officials with O2 Investment Partners say they will partner with the founders of CCSI Networks, Terry and Gene Callahan, to position the company for growth.

“We have great confidence in Terry, Gene, and the CCSI Networks team,” says Luke Plumpton, vice president of O2 Investment Partners. “They have built a fantastic business and have done an excellent job of positioning the company for continued growth.”

O2 Investment Partners invests in niche manufacturing and distribution companies, select technology segments, and select services businesses, which have an enterprise value of $5 million to $75 million. The company’s investments span throughout the United States and Canada, with a preference for the Midwest and Great Lakes region.
