Bloomfield Hills-based financial and strategic advisory firm O’Keefe today announced the expansion of its advisory services with its Automotive Recall Practice Group. The group will guide and counsel suppliers in automotive recall settlement discussions, including areas such as economic analysis of completion rates, cost data sampling, cost analysis of labor, material and overhead charges, discovery assistance and expert witness rebuttal reports, and expert witness testimony.

The team, comprised of Andrew Malec, Susan Koss, Caroyln Riegler, Judy Wallace, and Matthew Rizzo, combines years of financial, operational, economic, and automotive industry experience to better quantify the economic damages from automotive recalls.

“As regulations are aggressively enforced, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) are required to be more responsive on product defects and suppliers are increasingly faced with disputes and threat of litigation,” says Koss, partner and managing director at O’Keefe. “To better serve our supplier clients, our … team will work to preserve customer business relationships while easing financial adversity.”

O’Keefe has provided enterprise consulting, litigation support, strategic advisory, and turnaround and restructuring services since 2001. The company has additional offices in Atlanta, Chicago, and Grand Rapids.
