What do success principles and cancer have to do with each other? That’s what I had to ask Dave Prentice when we got together to write the book, “Can’t Doesn’t Exist,” now on Amazon.

Thankfully, after a bit of exploration, I figured it out. Before I explain the book, let me tell you about Dave and why you need to know his story.

A high school dropout turned millionaire before age 30, Dave had a successful multi-faceted real estate business in Detroit, where he lives. As a result of his success in business, he traveled the world and seen it all, having lived more life in his 30 years than most people do in their entire lives. And that’s a really good thing, because we don’t know how much longer he will be with us.

You see, at 28, Dave was on top of the world. His success in real estate had brought him money, and his success in relationships had brought him happiness. “I was winning at life,” he said.

But on Father’s Day in 2018, everything changed when out of nowhere he went into a seizure. He was rushed to the emergency room, where, after a series of scans the doctors discovered a tumor in his brain. It was brain cancer, and it was bad.

Dave was given a terminal diagnosis, and then did what he always does; he fought.

Now, we started with the question of what on Earth this book is about, and this is where I’d like to tell you. This is about success principles, and how to find victory over the greatest of struggles.

It’s about how to become rich, whether that’s in life, in relationships, in money, or anything else you want to be rich in. It’s about the six things you need to know if you want to advance in life, and it’s about making sure you don’t just know them, but you know how to put them into use so that you can have the life of your dreams.

It turns out that the same “6 Rules” that David used to become a millionaire, are the same “6 Rules” that David has used to not just survive during a terminal illness, but to thrive.  And it’s those “6 Rules” that David wants to teach you in this book.

When the doctors told Dave that there was a 95-percent likelihood that he would be dead within two years, Dave set out on a mission to share with the world his six rules to success. And from that, came, “Can’t Doesn’t Exist.”

In “Can’t Doesn’t Exist,” you will learn not just the “6 Rules” for success, but how to implement them so that you can change your life immediately, in any and every way you desire.

You will learn

  1. How to choose a lifepath that will give you not just success, but fulfillment and happiness as well.
  2. The keys to creating strong relationships that can boost not just your career, but your personal life as well.
  3. Why goals aren’t silly little things that your boss creates, but a powerful tool to achieve anything you want.
  4. How to become courageous, the EASY WAY.
  5. Why failing is the secret to success.

And most important, how to get free.

Over the last two years, he has been fighting, and winning. In January, the doctors told him he may be dead in as little as three weeks. We prayed, he fought, and thank God he’s still with us today.

When he looked at the prospects of death, he decided that while he was going to fight to survive, he also wanted to do something to change the world.

And to do that, he decided to write a book. He had hired a writer to help him with it, and it didn’t work out. He did it a second time, and it didn’t work out.  He did it a third time, and on the upside, it worked.

At the beginning of the September, after two brain surgeries and multiple rounds of chemotherapy (I think he’s literally on his ninth or 10th round right now), an MRI showed that the tumor that they had already been cut out twice, was back.

And not just back. It had spider webbed through his brain, making a third surgery impossible.

Dave literally devoted what all the doctors have said will be his last days to writing this book. They’ve told him that he likely has less than three months left.

Dave wanted to see the book released. I wanted to see it released. Thankfully, we were able to push the release date of his book way up so that he can see it, before it’s too late.  His hope is to get it out there and to see it change people’s lives.  And here’s the thing, it’s a good book; it can do it.

And here’s where I need your help.

I am emailing and calling literally everybody I know, all in an attempt to get Dave onto the best sellers list on Amazon. The eBook is $3.99 and the print version (which includes pictures of Dave that the eBook couldn’t include) is $12.99.

For clarification, I say “us” because I had the immense honor of co-writing the book with Dave. It was an experience I’ll never forget and am eternally grateful for, as I not only learned some gigantic things that have already paid off huge in my life, but also found a brother in the experience.

To help Dave’s book make the bestsellers list quickly, please help where you can.

  1. If you haven’t already, join the (#watchdavewin win team) on Facebook.
  2. Tell everybody about the book. Share it on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok … everywhere.
  3. There are a million ways to promote books, but podcasts are a great way to go about it. If you know anybody that runs a podcast where you could introduce us to set up an interview, it would be much appreciated. At the moment, Dave is having trouble speaking, so it would be me doing the interviews.

Within seven hours via a national marketing campaign on Sunday, we accomplished the following on Amazon:

#1 — Motivational/Self-help.

#1 — Cancer (how bittersweet that is!).

#2 — Movers and Shakers.

#4 — Success/self-help.

#26 — Biography/Memoir.

#66 — Amazon overall.

#40 — Amazon new releases.

All of that was the product of organizing a team of over 400 people, all of whom were passionate to get behind a man and his dream. The outreach included people who ran 5K races in honor of him in Michigan, Ohio, Nevada, Florida, and more.

The most amazing part was that most of the people who participated had never met or heard of Dave before this event. The book also has sold internationally. We did great numbers and saw business success, and all in a book launch that should have been three months long, but was done in only six days.

Please help in our mission, the book and eBook are available here.
