BJ’s Wholesale Club to Open Third Michigan Outlet in Chesterfield Township in 2020

Massachusetts-based BJ’s Wholesale Club is planning to open its third Michigan outlet in Chesterfield Township in early 2020, adding to its locations in Madison Heights and Taylor scheduled to open in late fall.

Massachusetts-based BJ’s Wholesale Club is planning to open its third Michigan outlet in Chesterfield Township in early 2020, adding to its locations in Madison Heights and Taylor scheduled to open in late fall.

The new Chesterfield location is expected to bring nearly 140 jobs to the store. The Madison Heights and Taylor locations are expected to add a total of 300 jobs to their areas.

BJ’s is a warehouse club operator on the East Coast that boasts 25 percent savings over traditional grocery stores. In addition to the warehouse club, it is opening a BJ’s Gas in Chesterfield.

The club will feature an extensive selection of fresh foods, a full-service deli, household essentials like paper products, cleaning products, diapers, pet supplies, and more. The club also will offer the “treasure-hunt experience with an assortment of fashion for the family, seasonal items, toys, hot tech, and a selection of local products.”
