Benzinga Cannabis Capital Conference to Take Place Aug. 15 in Detroit

The Benzinga Cannabis Capital Conference will take place on Thursday, Aug. 15 at The Westin Book Cadillac Detroit. Cannabis entrepreneurs and investors are expected to attend, and the conference is taking place in time for the Michigan recreational business license rollout, which is slated to begin Nov. 1.

Keynotes include “Driving Competitive Differentiation in Cannabis,” presented by Jeff Radway, CEO and co-founder of Green Peak Innovations, a medical cannabis company near Lansing, as well as an unnamed keynote by Jessica Billingsley, CEO of Akerna. Akerna is based in Colorado and is the first cannabis compliance technology company to be traded on Nasdaq.
