Detroit-based Bamboo, a provider of all-inclusive, modern, and flexible coworking space and private offices, is opening a site in Ann Arbor in early 2024.
The company, which recently marked 10 years in business, currently offers office space at locations in downtown Detroit and Royal Oak.
The Ann Arbor site will be located at 301 W. Washington St. The 24,000-square-foot space will include 40 private officers and 30 dedicated desks, along with sliding garage door event spaces, a rooftop space, a training room, and more.
The space recently was renovated into a modern workspace, and currently is undergoing light construction. The company anticipates opening in February 2024, pending construction.
The Ann Arbor Bamboo will have a staff of three employees, bringing the company’s total number of staffers to nine. The new site follows the Detroit location, which opened in 2013, and the Royal Oak space that opened in 2021.
Current Bamboo members in Detroit and Royal Oak will receive 9 a.m.-5 p.m. business hour access to use meeting rooms and coworking space in Ann Arbor. Monthly membership pricing for the new facility is set at $75 for a virtual office, $200 for a coworking space, $400 for a dedicated desk, and $850 a month for a private office.
Detroit membership prices range from $60-$550 a month. Royal Oak membership pricing is set from $65- $575 a month.
