Automotive Supplier Bontaz Centre Moves Headquarters to Troy

Southfield-based Colliers International Group Inc., a global commercial real estate services firm, has brokered the move of automotive supplier Botaz Centre to a 40,000-square-foot headquarters facility at 1099 Chicago Rd. in Troy. The company was previously located in Madison Heights.

Bontaz Centre is an automotive fluid manager that specializes in subassembly design and production. Founded in 1965, the company has more than 4,000 employees and operates 24 locations globally.

Bontaz Centre will occupy the site beginning March 1, with a focus on industrial research and development. Throughout the first year the company will add an additional 20,000 square feet to accommodate its growing work force.

Peter Kepic Sr, a Colliers principal, and Peter Kepic Jr., senior vice president of Colliers International Detroit, represented the facility’s landlord, while John Secco of Allegra Development handled the property’s lease and sale.

Colliers International operates in 66 countries and employees more than 16,000 worldwide. The company provides a range of services to real estate occupiers, owners, and investors.
