UKi Media and Events will be hosting its annual Automotive Interiors Expo at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi from Oct. 24-26. Organized by the publishers several international trade publications, the event will include more than 300 exhibitors, product demos, panel discussions, symposiums, and networking opportunities.
Topics covered at the symposiums will include possibilities for passengers of autonomous vehicles, how manual drivers will behave alongside AVs, and what the inside of future cars might look like. There will also be a presentation by Kirk Steudle, director of the Michigan Department of Transportation, regarding Michigan’s relationship with AV development.
Professionals involved in the design and development of OEM engines and powertrains as well as the sale or procurement of engine components, manufacturing systems, accessories, new technologies, and materials are encouraged to attend. The event is structured as an informal yet focused environment for OEMs and Tier 1 companies can discuss their requirements with past, present, and future technology partners.
