At Home, a Texas-based home décor superstore, has opened a new location in Bloomfield Township. The more than 122,000-square-foot store marks the company’s sixth location in Michigan.
Called At Home Bloomfield Hills, and located at 2101 Telegraph Rd., the store features a selection of more than 50,000 items, including seasonal and holiday décor, wall art and decorative accents, rugs, housewares, patio furniture, and home furnishings. The store will have 25 workers.
“At Home uses a flexible site-selection model, (where) we own, lease, and build new stores to support our growth, which allows us to be opportunistic when sites become available whether in Michigan or around the country,” says Alexis Gillette, senior brand manager for At Home.
The Bloomfield Township location will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. The store will host a grand opening ceremony on Sept. 29 with the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce.
Other Michigan At Home stores can be found in Ann Arbor, Dearborn, Jenison, Kalamazoo, and Utica. Including the new location, At Home operates 118 stores across 29 states.
