Aritzia, a design house that offers a number of exclusive brands and is based in Vancouver, Canada, today announced the opening of its recently relocated and expanded store at the Somerset Collection in Troy.

The new location, which is at Somerset Collection North, Level 2 (near Hugo Boss), offers an A-OK Café, a new coffee concept shop by Aritzia (one of two locations in the U.S.). The café features Irish green marble countertops, a coffee bar, finished with custom brass accents, and banquette seating and tables.

Coffee at the café is sourced sustainably from micro lots in Columbia. It offers espresso-based beverages, filter coffee, teas, and a selection of micro-ground tea (matcha, rooibos, hojicha) as well as a selection of pastries from local partners.

The fall 2021 menu features a Mushroom Latte made with a blend of five mushrooms and sweetened with miso caramel syrup. It also features the Miso Caramel Latte made with miso-infused caramel syrup, and a Spiced Latte made with house-made spice syrup and topped with fresh-ground nutmeg.

The boutique spans 9,517 square feet and features a 116-foot-long storefront, along with a mix of different design elements that include a cash desk clad in imported Italian Dedalus marble and an expansive 17-foot ceiling with custom arched portals and murals. The space also has halo-lit mirrors, exposed brick feature walls and archways, and a collection of vintage furniture from Brazil, Italy, Denmark, and France.

In addition, open-concept fitting rooms are supplemented with three private shopping rooms where clients can enjoy a personalized experience guided by a Style Advisor.

Aritzia says each boutique is created individually rather than on a template to create a memorable experience. It currently operates more than 100 stores throughout North America. For more information, visit Aritzia.com.
