Bloomfield Hills-based luxury homebuilder Arteva Homes on Saturday is opening the doors to its latest idea ShowHouse that includes a secret man cave and an indoor sports arena complete with a locker room and authentic scoreboard. Price tag for the home: $1.5 million.

“We’re finding that now that people are feeling more comfortable with the economy, they’re willing to get back to that price range,” says Dean Franchi, vice president of operations at Arteva. “(The ShowHouse) provides an environment where people can really see what’s available in today’s home market.”

Other highlights of the 7,000 square-foot manor include a circular study and a kitchen with integrated Sub-Zero refrigeration and high-end cooking technologies.

“What we really like are the technologies that are incorporated into the house,” Franchi says. “A lot of our high-end companies have supplied us with top-of-the-line modern technology. It’s not something you’ll see in any other builder’s model.”

Starting Saturday, the mansion will open to the public from noon to 5 p.m., except on Tuesdays. The home is located at the Tienken Road entrance at Clear Creek, just east of Sheldon Road and Stoney Creek High School.
