Art of Custom Framing Moves Headquarters, Gallery to Troy

The Art of Custom Framing will move its headquarters on Friday from Clawson to a larger space in Troy.

“Our new location allowed us to add dye sublimation printing and helps us make maximum use of the finest computer-assisted laser cutting machinery allowing our skilled operators to produce intricate mat designs as well as lettering and designs in acrylic and wood,” says Art Bashi, vice president of the Art of Custom Framing.

The new space, 3863 Rochester Rd., north of Big Beaver Road, will offer more room so that the company can feature latex printing, laser engraving, and metal and wood dye-printing services (a printer that uses heat to transfer dye onto materials), among other offerings. The gallery also offers in-stock art prints and framed sports memorabilia.

The Art of Custom Framing was founded in 2011 as a custom framing business for sports memorabilia, but now features fine art consultations and works by Michigan artists. The company will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening celebration Friday.
