Looking to expand beyond the Midwest, Ann Arbor-based sports and entertainment parking reservation and tailgate planning network Park n Party has acquired Florida-based parking reservation company Yardslot.

In addition to existing markets in Detroit, Ann Arbor, and South Bend, Park n Party has expanded into seven markets this year, including East Lansing, Indianapolis, Tuscaloosa, Baton Rouge, Columbia, South Carolina, and Oxford, Miss. The company was founded in 2010.

“We’re very excited about our customer base and sales growth in 2017. In Detroit, we’ve added dozens of parking locations,” says Taylor Bond, president and CEO of Park n Party. “We offer parking reservations for every major downtown Detroit sports and entertainment event. For the brand new Little Caesars Arena, Park n Party offers parking reservations at lots only a short walk away.”

Yardslot was founded by University of Florida alumni Thomas Dunne and Logan Middleton in Feb. 2015 with the mission of making parking easier for Southeastern Conference (SEC) football fans, while creating a revenue source for nearby homeowners at the 88,500-seat Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, also known as “The Swamp.”

In addition to parking reservations for sporting events and other entertainment, Park n Party offers a variety of amenities, including tailgate planning and coordination, and access to a large network of caterers, hospitality suites, and entertainment providers on a one-time or full-season basis.
