
ACG Detroit, an organization of middle-market mergers and acquisitions professionals, is accepting nominations for its second Inspire & Ignite Awards program. The deadline to submit a nomination is Friday, Jan. 10, 2025.
The awards are designed to celebrate and empower the extraordinary women in southeast Michigan’s middle market making “inspirational moves and carrying out bold visions to positively grow or enhance their communities, companies, or industries,” according to the organization. Investment bankers, lawyers, bankers, accountants, entrepreneurs, middle market business leaders, those in private equity, corporate development, and other service providers are eligible.
Nominations are being accepted for the following awards:
Igniting Inspiration Award
Recognizing the next generation, this award celebrates the achievements of women in Michigan’s middle-market community, early in their careers. The group aims to honor those who have displayed “remarkable determination, progress, and professionalism,” particularly within the past year, while actively propelling their companies and industries forward. Candidates must be women, 35 years old or younger as of Dec. 31, and based in southeast Michigan.
Inspiring Impact Award
Honoring visionary leadership, this award pays tribute to women whose career journeys have been marked by significant contributions to Detroit’s middle-market community. These esteemed professionals have achieved remarkable career trajectories and demonstrated unwavering dedication to fostering growth and mentorship within their companies and beyond. Candidates must be women based in southeast Michigan.
Winners will be honored at the 2025 Inspire & Ignite: Women’s Forum Luncheon on March 7, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Book Tower Detroit.
