Dynfly, a color concept salon dedicated to quick and convenient professional hair coloring, today announced it has opened a flagship location at 41810 Ford Road in Canton Township.

The single service salon is the run by hair designers and salon industry veterans Tomy Lulgjuraj, and George and Johnny Nikollaj, co-owners of 6 Salon in Birmingham and Royal Oak, along with one of their long-time employees, Constance Abro.

In 2014, the team launched a color-only salon concept in Troy as Dye and Fly.  As the owners explored expansion opportunities, they brought on franchise expert Cliff Lunney, president of Birmingham based CWL Investments, as a partner.

Together, they developed the Dynfly brand and salon model. The Troy location has since been rebranded as Dynfly and, in addition to the new Canton Township location, plans for other salons are in the works in Shelby Township, Northville, and Royal Oak/Birmingham areas with franchising opportunities on the horizon.

“Working in the beauty industry for decades, we recognized the ongoing demand for segmented salon services which started with the blow-out concept and has naturally progressed to color bars as the trend to offer time-saving beauty services,” says Lulgjuraj, COO and vice president of operations at Dynfly.

“Dynfly compliments, rather than replaces, the full-service experience by providing consistent professional custom hair color, applied by certified colorists, in half the time of traditional salons to accommodate our clients’ busy schedules.”

Dynfly’s offerings include $25 for the guy dye men’s color to $65 for the true blond, a full head of foil highlights. Many offerings are all just $30 each. Dynfly also features a complimentary YDI (You Do It) bar inviting clients to complete their style with the use of blow dryers, brushes, and a wide array of styling products, allowing them to experiment and try items before purchasing.

Each salon will be approximately 1,200-2,000 square feet and will employ an average of 15 fully licensed and professionally trained colorists, plus support staff.
