The Best Way to Meet Famous People

3933

I love meeting famous people and always get a kick out of shaking hands with folks who are the top in their field.

Having been in the music business in my 20s, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting many famous musicians, including Mike Love of the Beach Boys, Rick Springfield, Corey Hart, the boys from UB40 and our own Bob Seger.

I’ve met celebrities such as Ben Vereen, George Herbert Walker Bush, John McCain and Abigail (Dear Abby) VanBuren.

As a speaker and author, I’ve met tons of people famous people in my line of work, including, Tony Robbins, Brian Tracy, Stephen Covey and Mark Victor (Chicken Soup for the Soul) Hansen.

Many of these meetings were photographed and the pictures are displayed at www.Facebook.com/MichaelAngeloCaruso.

After much experience, I’ve discovered a secret to meeting celebrities. By far the best way to meet celebs is before they become famous.

On Wednesday, DBusiness readers have an opportunity to meet a man that may become the next Governor of the great State of Michigan.

Oakland County Sheriff, Michael Bouchard, is speaking at a luncheon this Wednesday, March 3. The event sponsored by the Rotary Club of Troy on Wednesday, March 3 at Noon.

Michigan is at a turning point and this is a great opportunity for you to meet and hear from one our state’s important politicians. At this point, Mr. Bouchard is well-known, but not quite famous.

The luncheon is from Noon to 1:30 PM at the award-winning Bank of America building at 2600 Big Beaver Rd. (16 Mile Rd.), just east of Somerset North.

The lunch only costs $11. Feel free to bring a friend or business associate.

If you’d like to attend, please RSVP to Club President Eileen Heasley at eheasley@avisionforcleanwater.org by noon on Tuesday, March 2. Bring plenty of business cards to share with other notables. Oh, and bring your camera. I’ll see you there!
