Know Advertising hosted Smoke 2014 on Feb. 27 at the Got Rocks Cigar Lounge in Birmingham. The event, which included a night of fine cigars and cocktails, benefited the Van House Foundation in Royal Oak.

The Brothers of the Capuchin ministries held its second annual Bocce with the Capuchin Brothers at Villa Penna in Sterling Heights on Jan. 24. Proceeds benefited the Capuchin ministries.

The Masten Group hosted a benefit fundraiser for Impact Community Services at the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel in Detroit on Dec. 7. More than 50 people attended the event, which included a raffle featuring products and services donated by local businesses.

The Lingenfelter Collection in Brighton hosted a Shades of Pink Fundraiser on Oct. 12. The event included a fashion show, raffle, and car display. Proceeds from the event helped provide financial assistance for women with breast cancer.

MGM Grand Detroit was the setting for the Asian Pacific American Chamber of Commerce annual dinner on May 18. The event, which drew close to 600 guests, included a gourmet dinner, a silent auction, door prizes, and a keynote speech by Jeff Yang.
