Following a restoration, Detroit-based Simmons & Clark Jewelers hosted a grand re-opening event on Thursday, April 20. Guests enjoyed food and drinks from Wright & Co. and The Detroit Beer Co., with proceeds benefitting Detroit PAL, JVS, the Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation, and Gleaners Community Food Bank.

The Detroit Young Professionals held its fifth annual Vanguard Awards dinner to honor the efforts of young professionals and entrepreneurs growing and excelling in their respective fields on Oct. 1 at the Max M. Fisher Music Center in Detroit. Guests enjoyed a plated dinner, an open bar, and live entertainment.
