Wayne State University (WSU) in Detroit will launch the Wayne Innovation Hub on Nov. 15. The Hub is designed to coordinate and enhance the university’s programs for entrepreneurship education, technology commercialization, and community partnerships. Report: Metro Detroit Home Prices Up 4.1 Percent in September
Re/Max of Southeast Michigan has released its September housing report, which indicates a 4.1 percent increase in home prices (an average price of $196,250). As the surplus of buyers has outweighed the amount of homes on the market, prices have risen and home sales have decreased by 1.6 percent.
SwRI in Ann Arbor Signs Agreement with A&D Technology and Opens Lab

StockX in Detroit Adds Streetwear to Online Marketplace
Detroit-based StockX, the first online stock market for consumer products, has announced the streetwear vertical addition to their ‘new luxury’ marketplace. Streetwear is StockX’s fourth vertical that can be bought or sold anonymously on the platform. Initially, streetwear will exclusively feature the Supreme brand, with other brands to follow.
PF Changs to Open Restaurant in Rochester Hills
P.F Chang’s, the full-service Asian fusion restaurant, will be opening a new location on Oct. 23 in Rochester Hills. The 5,861-square-foot space will include patio seating for 32 guests and indoor seating for up to 158 guests.

Ann Arbor-based automotive accessory company Truck Hero has announced an agreement to acquire Omix-ADA Inc., an independent developer and supplier of Jeep off-road parts, accessories, and floor liners. The acquisition is expected to close at the end of October.
Cork and Gabel Restaurant to Open in Corktown Spring 2018
Cork and Gabel, a restaurant fusion of Irish, Italian, and German cuisine, is slated to open in Detroit's Corktown district in April 2018. The restaurant will be owned by co-founders Matt McGrail, executive chef, and Joe Mifsud, owner of several Corktown residential buildings.
