On November 13 more than 1,000 guests gathered for the Memorial Service for Emanuel Steward, the famed boxing trainer, promoter, and media personality. The service was held at Greater Grace Temple followed by a reception at The Rostertail, both in Detroit. Photographs by Nick Martines.

More than 200 guests enjoyed a strolling cocktail reception on November 7 at the Palladium 12 in downtown Birmingham. Following the reception, hosted by Aston Martin of Troy, guests watched the new James Bond thriller, "Skyfall."
