Detroit-based Chevrolet is partnering with the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association and the National Association of Trailer Manufacturers to develop technologies that improve trailering experiences.

The University of Michigan Board of Regents has approved a schematic design for a new $75 million Robotics Laboratory, to be located at the university’s Ann Arbor campus. The building will operate as a robotic technologies facility that includes a dedicated space for Dearborn-based Ford Motor Co.

A new Detroit-based company, Urb Appeal Tours, has launched and is now offering customizable, guided tours and group outings throughout the city.

The Michigan Theater Foundation has launched The State and Michigan Project, a capital campaign to renovate the State Theatre in Ann Arbor and make critical capital improvements to the Michigan Theater. The campaign goal is $8.5 million, and pledges of over $6.2 million have already been received.

University of Michigan-Dearborn’s $51 million renovation of its Natural Sciences Building will open today. Four disciplines are represented in the building: biology, chemistry, geology, and environmental biology.

Little Caesars and Olympia Development of Michigan broke ground today on the new $150 million Little Caesars world headquarters campus expansion in The District Detroit. Expected to be completed in 2018, the expansion is Detroit’s first newly constructed corporate headquarters building in more than a decade.
