FUEL: Detroit, a one-day leadership conference, brought together business leaders such as Martha Stewart; Capt. Mark Kelly, astronaut and husband to former U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords; and Jacques Panis, president of Shinola, on April 21 at the Sound Board inside the MotorCity Casino Hotel.

The Michigan Humane Society hosted the 27th annual Bow Wow Brunch at the MGM Grand Detroit Hotel on April 17. Guests enjoyed a champagne reception, brunch, and live and silent auctions. Proceeds from the event assist the non-profit in finding homes for animals in need.
