The 31st North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), to be hosted in January 2019 at Detroit’s Cobo Center, started selling tickets Thursday. Tickets for The Gallery, Industry Preview, Charity Preview, and Public Show are available.

“The North American International Auto Show offers six unique shows in one, five of which are ticketed for many different audiences,” says Rod Alberts, executive director NAIAS. “Our 2019 show is going to be a transformative year for the show, and we’re looking forward to delivering events that offer something for all attendees, from global executives to car enthusiasts alike.”

The Gallery is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 12 and offers a night for exclusive guests that includes fine food and luxury automobiles. The evening will mark the 13th year of the event, which will be hosted at the MGM Grand in Detroit and feature brands such as Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Rolls Royce. Tickets will be $500 each.

The Industry Preview will be held Jan. 16-17 and host nearly 40,000 automotive professionals from more than 2,200 companies from around the world.

The networking and professional development opportunity brings individuals responsible for the cutting-edge products, technologies, and services on display at the show to Detroit. With the addition of AutoMobili-D, to be hosted Jan. 14-17, Industry Preview attendees are able to experience the latest mobility-focused technologies and innovative platforms from global automakers, suppliers, and startups on autonomous driving, connected car, e-mobility, mobility services, and smart cities. Tickets are $110 per person, and shipping and handling fees may apply.

The VIP Industry Preview Package provides group ticket purchasers access to the products, technologies, and services on display at NAIAS as well as the Atwater Networking Lounge. Groups purchasing 20 or more Industry Preview tickets will receive two Atwater Networking Lounge access credentials, while purchasers of 50 or more will receive a minimum of five.

The lounge offers a private coat check, light lunch, refreshments, a cash bar, a complimentary NAIAS program, and early access to the show floor on Wednesday, Jan. 16. To purchase Industry Preview group tickets, contact Blake Govan at blake@fulkersongroup.com or (248) 388-9398.

The Charity Preview will be held Jan. 18, and proceeds will directly benefit a wide range of children’s charities. Tickets will be $400 per person, and $390 of the cost is tax-deductible.

The public show will be held Jan. 19-27 and will feature vehicles and technologies that will shape the future automotive landscape. Tickets are $14 per adult, $7 for seniors ages 65 and older as well as for children ages 7-12, and free for children 6 and younger with a parent or guardian.

NAIAS brings together the largest concentration of the world’s top automotive and technology executives, designers, engineers, and thought leaders.

The show will be held in June for the first time in 2020 and incorporate more sites in Detroit. The new time is expected to showcase more of the city and cut costs for exhibitors. More than 750,000 people attended this year’s show, which generated an economic impact of $480 million to the regional economy.
