Sanders Expands to Meet Rising Demand for Chocolates and Confections

To meet added demand, Sanders & Morley Candy Makers in Clinton Township today announced it has signed a lease to occupy additional warehouse space in Macomb Township.

In addition to leasing warehouse space, in the last four years Sanders has purchased property adjacent to its main production facility, leased an additional 50,000 square-foot distribution center, implemented new cloud-based ERP software, added multiple new production lines, and installed a new 500-gallon caramel cooking kettle.

Sanders is a classic national brand featuring premium chocolates, dessert toppings, and baked goods using original recipes dating as far back as 1875. Started by Fred Sanders in downtown Detroit, the brand is now owned by Morley Candy Makers, Inc., which dates back to 1919.
