After more than 20 years of operation, the nation’s largest independent provider of title insurance, property valuations, and closing services today announced it has changed its name to Amrock Inc. from Title Source Inc. The company is part of the Quicken Loans Inc. family of companies in Detroit.

Dan Gilbert, founder and chairman of Quicken Loans, acquired Title Source in 2002 when he and a group of investors purchased Quicken Loans from Intuit Inc. Gilbert, along with his brother, Gary, and two other partners, launched Rock Financial in 1985 to provide home mortgages. Rock Financial was sold to Intuit in 2000, which renamed it Quicken Loans.

For Amrock, the new brand and identity reflects the wide range of settlement services and technology solutions the company provides its clients across all 50 states and 3,000 counties in the country.

“The Amrock brand is a reflection of who we are today, a leading edge provider of FinTech services to the real estate and mortgage finance industries,” says Jeff Eisenshtadt, CEO of Amrock. “We’ve grown exponentially since Title Source began in 1997. Our new brand identity matches the significant and growing investment in our technology, products, and services, allowing us to deliver a more efficient, faster, and seamless experience for our clients.”

Amrock is a technology company at its core and offers products and services that integrate and streamline the experience for the customers of both real estate and lending organizations. The company’s proprietary products range from customizable partner management applications to process-smart functionality.

“The Amrock platform, which includes our desktop and mobile applications, as well as customizable tools, brings clarity and visibility to a traditionally complex and frustrating process,” says Eisenshtadt.

Amrock Inc. is the nation’s largest independent provider of title insurance, valuations, and settlement services. The company, along with its 2,500 employees, is headquartered in Detroit and maintains regional operating centers in California, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas.
