Federal-Mogul Motorparts in Southfield to Launch Garage Gurus HD at HDAW in Las Vegas

Southfield based-Federal-Mogul today announced it will launch Garage Gurus HD (Heavy Duty) and its commercial vehicle products for the wheel end, visibility, steering, suspension, and engine repair markets during Heavy-Duty Aftermarket Week 2018 (HDAW), from Jan. 22-25, in Las Vegas.

Garage Gurus HD is Federal-Mogul’s new heavy-duty training program for technicians who perform HD repairs, trains users on how to repair medium and big rigs, perform diagnostic checks, prepare for ASE certification exams, and keep up with the latest tools, maintenance, and repair techniques in the industry.

Now available online, onsite, and on-the-go, the program will initially be available across three modules, including nine classes pertaining to foundation brakes, air disc brakes and bearings, and seals. Additional training classes for FP Diesel, ASE prep classes, preventive maintenance inspections, and more will launch throughout 2018.

The company’s featured brands include Abex friction products, ANCO wipers, Champion batteries, FP Diesel engine components, MOOG Steering and Suspension products, National oil seals and bearings, and Wagner lighting and products. Highlights and commercial vehicle repair solutions also on display will include Abex Air Disc Brake Rotors, ANCO HD Wiper Blades, Champion HD Batteries, FP Diesel, MOOG, and Wagner LongLife HD Lamps, Miniature Lamps, and Sealed Beam Headlamps.
