Detroit’s General Motors Co. today unveiled its 2019 Chevrolet Blazer. The two-row midsize SUV includes an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 4G LTE compatibility with an available Wi-Fi hotspot, and keyless open and start.

The blazer is offered in L, Blazer, RS, and Premier trims, each with a different look. The new Blazer has a wide stance and tight proportions.

“The Blazer’s design offers customers a crossover that can exceed their needs, matching their unique personality,” says Steve Majoros, marketing director for cars and crossovers for Chevrolet. “Blazer sets a new design language for Chevy’s crossover family and extends our momentum into one of the industry’s fastest-growing segments.”

The vehicle also offers a rear seat reminder, a rear vision camera, dual-zone automatic climate control with rear vent, heated outside mirrors, traction mode select, and 18-inch wheels and tires.

The new Blazer is powered by a standard 2.5L I-4 engine with 193 horsepower backed by a nine-speed automatic transmission. A 3.6L V-6/nine speed combination with 305 horsepower is also offered on Blazer and comes standard on the RS and Premier models.

Additional available features include a panoramic dual-pane power sunroof, an automatic heated steering wheel, automatic heated/ventilated front seats, heated outboard rear seats, rear camera mirror, wireless charging, and up to six USB ports.

The Blazer starts at a MSRP of $29,995 and is scheduled to go on sale in early January 2019.
