Carvana, an Arizona-based e-commerce platform for buying used cars, today announced it has launched in four additional markets — Grand Rapids, Lansing, Flint, and Fort Wayne, Ind. The company first came to Michigan in July 2017 when it launched in Detroit.
Using the service, residents in a given area can buy a car via their mobile devices and shop among more than 10,000 vehicles. Users also can finance, purchase, and sell their current vehicles to Carvana and schedule a delivery as soon as the next day.
“Consumers in the Midwest are responding favorably to the new way to buy a car,” says Ernie Garcia, founder and CEO of Carvana. “We are proud to provide an easy, convenient car-buying solution to Grand Rapids, Lansing, Flint, and Fort Wayne residents by expanding our presence in those cities.”
All Carvana vehicles undergo a 150-point inspection, have no frame damage, and have never been in a reported accident. Features, imperfections, and updated information about open safety recalls are listed on the car’s vehicle description page. Each car comes with a seven-day return policy.
Carvana launched in the Indianapolis market in November 2016 and now serves more than 75 markets across the U.S. The company began operations in 2012 and is based in Phoenix.
