Rochester Hills-based i.M Branded, a supplier of brand-specific furniture and wall art to support automotive OEMs’ corporate identity programs, today announced an expansion to a 150,000-square-foot facility in Pontiac.

The company has created graphics for several Super Bowl games, the Daytona 500, the North American International Auto Show, and various building wraps across the country, including the Renaissance Center in Detroit when General Motors Co. introduced the Chevrolet Malibu.

Citing rapid growth, the company signed a 10-year lease in May, and the build-out began right after Memorial Day. The project is expected to take three to four months to complete.

i.M Branded president Jim Whitehead attributes the company’s success to its focus on quality brand-specific furniture, fixtures, and wall art, including an 18,000-square foot graphic currently on the exterior of FCA US’ World Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills.

“Every project we touch, from the smallest to the largest, receives our unparalleled attention to detail,” says Whitehead. “We currently have 110 employees, and we’ll hire about 40 more when we relocate to Pontiac in September. We plan to expand beyond 200 in the coming years.”

Some of i.M Branded’s other automotive clients include: Audi, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Jaguar Land Rover, Maserati, Mercedes Benz, and Rolls Royce Motor Cars. In total, the company has served more than 5,000 dealerships.

Current jobs available include sales and marketing manager, cabinet assembly, millwork engineering, and installers. Candidates can find application information here.
