The North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) today announced The Four Tops will perform on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, at Cobo Center in downtown Detroit following the annual Charity Preview.

The Four Tops are a Detroit-based American vocal quartet whose portfolio includes doo-wop, jazz, soul music, R&B, disco, hard rock, and show tunes.

Though most groups featured a tenor as their lead singer, The Front Tops helped define Motown in the 1960s and were noted for having Levi Stubbs, a baritone, lead the group.

The act was the main male vocal group for the songwriting and production team of Holland-Dozier-Holland, who crafted such singles as “I Can’t Help Myself” and “Reach Out, I’ll Be There.”

While the Charity Preview ends at 9 p.m., After 9, the Charity Preview’s official after party at Cobo Center will feature The Four Tops, followed by Your Generation. Access to After 9 is available at no cost to all Charity Preview attendees.

Charity Preview tickets are $400, $350 of which is tax deductible. Ticketing information can be found here.

Funds raised will support a variety of local charities that support children from birth to age 18.
