Spartan Emergency Response, a unit of Charlotte-based specialty automotive designer, engineer, and manufacturer Spartan Motors, today announced the addition of Feld Fire, a top regional dealer and provider of fire apparatus and first responder equipment. The move makes Spartan its exclusive fire apparatus manufacturer, and will allow Spartan to expand coverage across the Midwest.
Spartan’s addition of Feld as an authorized dealer will provide fire departments throughout the Midwest with a single source supply center that offers complete service for all fire, rescue, and safety items through its recently expanded service capabilities. Feld has serviced the Midwest for over 70 years from its headquarters in Carol, Iowa, and effectively adds Iowa, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Missouri to Spartan’s emergency response distribution unit.

Spartan Motors employs approximately 1,800 and operates facilities in Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Missouri, South Dakota, Saltillo, Mexico; and Lima, Peru.
