Ann Arbor-based global corporate risk management services provider Pinkerton has announced the strategic acquisition of Stockholm-based Seccredo AB, a risk and security consulting services provider.

Pinkerton’s corporate risk management services include consulting and investigations, executive protection, and employment screening. Founded in 1850 by Alan Pinkerton, Pinkerton offers organizations a range of corporate risk management services, from security consulting and investigations to executive protection. Pinkerton prevails amongst other competitors with the help of trusted employees and numerous office sites worldwide.

“As the world continues to become increasingly interconnected, events happening thousands of miles away have the potential to impact business continuity for organizations throughout the U.S. and prevent business leaders from meeting their strategic goals and objectives,” says Jack  Zahran, president of Pinkerton. “Seccredo AB has established a well-deserved reputation for taking decisive action and securing positive results on behalf of clients, and this acquisition will further expand Pinkerton’s global intelligence network and ensure we are proving clients with the most accurate, timely information to help them make the best decisions for their organizations.”

Seccredo AB aids customers in preventing, controlling, and managing disturbances and losses across their organization for private businesses and government agencies. Founded in 2004, the company gained recognition after sending consultants to Thailand, offering Swedish citizens emergency support and assistance in locating missing family and relatives after a tsunami hit Southeast Asia.
