Troy-based Meritor Inc. and Milwaukee-based REV Group today announced a three-year standard supplier agreement. The partnership between REV Group, a designer, manufacturer, and distributor of specialty vehicles and related aftermarket parts and services, and Meritor, a global supplier of drivetrain, mobility, braking, and aftermarket solutions for commercial vehicle and industrial markets, will equip REV Group’s bus, fire, and specialty vehicles with Meritor’s fully dressed axle assemblies.

“This strategic partnership with REV Group positions Meritor as a supplier of choice for a growing company,” says Joe Muscedere, general manager of off highway, specialty and defense, North America for Meritor. “We look forward to continued work with the REV Group on new products and the development of future designs.”

REV Group is the parent company of 28 brands with more than 240,000 vehicles in service. The REV brands included in the agreement include E-ONE, Ferrara, KME, Capacity Trucks, and El Dorado.

“REV Group’s focus on continuously improving quality and reliability drives our strategic supplier selection,” says Tim Sullivan, president and CEO of REV Group. “Partnering with Meritor allows REV to further strengthen our value proposition to customers.”

Training and support for customers will be available from DriveForce, Meritor’s North American sales and service organization that offers solutions before, during, and after a sale.
