The Pontiac-based M1 Concourse, an 87-acre racetrack and cond0-garages for auto enthusiasts, will host more than 600 vehicles and motorcycles at the annual Italian Happening on Sunday, June 11.

The event will mark the largest gathering of Italian vehicles in Michigan, and will also feature Italian food, wine tasting, and family activities.

“The M1 Concourse is thrilled to host this event for the first time, which is the largest gathering of modern Italian exotics, supercars, and classics in Michigan,” says Brad Oleshansky, M1 Concourse’s founder and CEO. “Along with authentic Italian food and a wine tasting experience that is not to be missed, this is a great event for car enthusiasts, families looking for a fun way to spend a Sunday together, or anyone who wants to visit the Concourse.”

Artisan Italian foods including wood-fired pizza, soups, olives, stuffed peppers, risotto, and sausage will all be available for purchase during the festival. An imported marketplace will also be on-site, featuring a collection of olive oils, meats and cheeses, sauces, pastas, linens, handmade ceramics, and more.

Wine enthusiasts can enjoy tasting more than 40 wines from different regions in Italy, as well as a beer garden and an Italian fizz station.

Italian Happening is sponsored by Alfa Romeo in partnership with Cauley Ferrari Dealers and The Suburban Collection. General admission tickets cost $10, or $40 for admission plus the wine tasting experience. Tickets can be purchased here.
