With support from Ann Arbor SPARK and Michigan Economic Development Corp., IT solutions provider Barracuda Networks is expanding in Ann Arbor. The company plans to add 115 new jobs in downtown Ann Arbor over the next four years.

Barracuda currently provides IT solutions to wirelessly protect technology professionals’ networks, applications, and data. More than 150,000 organizations worldwide currently leverage Barracuda’s portfolio of cloud-enabled security and data protection solutions that are available through appliance, virtual appliance, cloud, and hybrid deployment options.

Ann Arbor SPARK, a non-profit organization that supports business acceleration, attraction, and retention, will support Barracuda’s expansion via its job portal, which helps facilitate connections between the workforce and local employers.

The organization will also promote talent mixers to assist with recruiting through the University of Michigan, Eastern Michigan University, and other targeted groups.

“Barracuda has been a long-time supporter of Ann Arbor, and it’s exciting to see the company continue to thrive here,” says Paul Krutko, president and CEO of Ann Arbor SPARK. “Barracuda is an active participant in our tech ecosystem and draws attention to the great innovation-based careers available in the Ann Arbor region. Ann Arbor SPARK will continue to support Barracuda as it grows.”
