Wixom-based Hosco Holdings, a finishing system components and engineering solutions manufacturer, today announced the acquisition of Classic Precision Inc., an aerospace fuel delivery and combustion component manufacturer, also based in Wixom.

The sale will allow Hosco to combine its expertise with traditional fluid handling systems with CPI’s experience in aerospace fuel delivery systems, and open new markets for both companies.

“The acquisition of CPI will allow us to extend our reach into the aerospace market and enhance our product line beyond our current capability,” says Tom Murray, Hosco’s president and CEO. “CPI has an exemplary reputation with its customers, a highly skilled staff, leading edge manufacturing technologies, and is known for precision machining of fluid delivery components to AS9100 certified specifications.”

The acquisition is part of Hosco’s ongoing plan for growth in providing engineering solutions and components used in paint, coating, fuel delivery, and fluid handling systems.

Ed Kruske, owner of CPI, will stay on in a managerial capacity.

“Hosco is a well-respected and recognized name in finishing systems and finishing components,” says Kruske. “We’re very pleased to find a great strategic partner that will continue and expand the tradition of excellence in machining that CPI has brought to its customers”.
