Bar’s Products, an automotive repair and performance chemicals manufacturer has purchased Hy-Per Lube Corp. The acquisition adds Hy-Per Lube’s brand of high-performance additives to its family of brands, including Bar’s Leaks and Rislone, an engine treatment brand.

Located in Seattle, Hy-Per Lube was founded in the early 1950s by Harold Hilton. The company was originally focused on fabricating high-quality valves for the paper, electrical power generation, petrochemical, and marine industries. When the heat and friction generated by worn gears was causing premature wear, Hilton developed Hy-Per Lube as a strengthening, non-foaming, extreme pressure oil supplement. Hy-Per Lube brand now includes zinc replacement additive, super coolant, max octane, quick heat, total fuel system cleaner, and diesel super coolant.

Based in Holly since 1947, more information about Bar’s Leaks full line of products can be found here
