Middleville-based HPS, a group purchasing organization with nearly 3,600 members including 144 acute care and 1,466 non-acute care facilities in 20 states, has signed a 10-year partnership agreement with Resource Optimization & Innovation for access to ROi’s comprehensive cost management and supply chain services.
“Our core membership base is made up of organizations that have a direct impact on the communities they serve, like hospitals and senior living facilities, for example,” says Tom LaPres, president and CEO of HPS. “The people who make up HPS and ROi understand this, and we all understand how important it is that we remain diligent in offering relevant, meaningful services now and in the future. We are certain this will be a great partnership for everyone involved.”
ROi will serve as the exclusive GPO for HPS’ national contract portfolio.
Headquartered just south of Grand Rapids, HPS has been offering group purchasing power for members in medical, senior living, and education fields since 1949.
