Auburn Hills automaker FCA US today announced the addition of the Touring Plus model to the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica lineup, extending the appeal of the minivan to more customers.

The new model includes features such as a power lift gate, three-zone automatic temperature control, premium fascia, projector headlamps, LED tail lamps, fog lamps, second and third row sunshades, and a universal garage door opener.

The Pacifica Touring Pus Model is available in dealer showrooms now and has a starting MSRP of $32,360, with a $1,095 destination fee. Customers who order 18-inch wheels and the 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen system on their Touring Plus receive a single overhead DVD player ($995 value) at no charge.

“The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica arrived in dealerships a year ago, and in that time, it has both resonated with our current minivan customers and brought new minivan buyers to the brand,” says Tim Kuniskis, head of passenger car brands for Dodge, SRT, Chrysler, and Fiat at FCA – North America. “The addition of the new Touring Plus model to the Pacifica lineup builds on this success, delivering another option to meet the needs and price point of more customers.”

Re-engineered from the ground up, the Pacifica delivers gasoline and hybrid powertrains to the minivan segment, with more than 100 available safety and security features, the new UConnect Theater rear-seat entertainment system, and a variety of comfort and convenience technologies.

With the addition of the Touring Plus model, the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica lineup consists of six models: LX, Touring, Touring Plus, Touring-L, Touring-L Plus, and Limited.
