Since its founding in 2006, the Detroit Experience Factory (DXF) has taken more than 85,000 people to see what Detroit has to offer, and the company is celebrating the milestone by adding 16 new tours to its summer lineup. Some of the new tours include a QLINE tour, neighborhood walking tours, Detroit-themed bus tours, small business tours, and an art in the market tour.

“There are literally thousands of amazing people, places and projects in this city and we want to showcase them all,” says Jeanette Pierce, executive director at DXF. “By expanding our public tour offerings and constantly creating new private tours focused on all sorts of themes we hope to continue to show both locals and visitors that there is something for everyone in Detroit.”

The new tours bring DXF’s total to 28 different tours, about half of which are available at no cost and are offered nearly every day. DXF will also host a summer kickoff party on May 13 from 12-5 p.m. with snacks, giveaways, and games. The event will be held at DXF’s office, located at 123 Monroe Ave.
