Troy-based Ziebart International Corp., a provider of automotive detailing, film, and protection services, today introduced its Nano Ceramic Performance Film, a window tint that doesn’t change the look of the vehicle from the outside, but protects against heat and ultraviolet rays.
“NCP film was designed for the driver who wants to keep their vehicle cooler and protected, but doesn’t want to change the look of their vehicle with a dark window tint,” says Larisa Walega, director of marketing at Ziebart. “Many window tint shades are prohibited by state laws. Ziebart’s new clear and almost invisible NCP film meets state guidelines for window tint visual light transmission requirements.”
Walega says most window tints don’t protect against any type of heat rejection or protection against UV rays, which can cause fading and cracking of automotive interiors. She says the film doesn’t interfere with cell phones, radios, radar detectors, or global positioning systems, unlike many metalized window films.
“Our new Ziebart NCP film combines the latest in window tint technology with the best in performance,” says Daniel Baker, president of Ziebart. “Our film provides the best in heat rejection and blocks 99 percent of harmful ultraviolet rays, allowing for a more comfortable and safer drive.”
