Team Schostak Family Restaurants — a Livonia-based, family-owned restaurant group with a large portfolio of fast-casual, quick-service, and family restaurants throughout the state — has signed a lease with Riverfront Holdings Inc. for Michigan’s first Applebee’s Grill and Bar/International House of Pancakes concept at the Millender Center in Detroit.
The 11,393-square-foot restaurant will be the first Applebee’s/IHOP co-branding in the U.S. and the first IHOP in TSFR’s portfolio.

Construction of the restaurant within the Millender Center is scheduled to begin in April 2017, pending city approval, and will culminate in a 300-seat, co-branded establishment with entrees from both menus and a barista coffee bar. The grand opening is slated for late 2017.
