Ann Arbor-based TITLE Boxing Club International— which has grown to 150 boxing clubs from 20 locations in 2012— today announced new additions to its ownership team.

The new owners include Drew Brees, MVP-winning quarterback from the New Orleans Saints; David Barr, founder of People Make The Difference Restaurants; CEO Shelly Sun and co-founder JD Sun from the health care company BrightStar Care; and Lawrence Cohen, the first franchisee given a spot in the International Franchise Association’s Hall of Fame.

“It’s not often in a person’s career when you get to work alongside the best-of-the best,” says John Rotche, CEO of TITLE Boxing Club. “We’ve created the Dream Team of franchising and I don’t think it’s possible to gather a more prominent group of leaders in one room.”

Founded in 2008 by Danny Campbell, a retired boxing professional, TITLE Boxing Club offers group classes and personal training.

The company was recently listed on Entrepreneur magazine’s Top 500 Franchises List and Franchise Times Top 200 List.
