A new nightclub in downtown Detroit overlooking Grand Circus Park, called Chateau Detroit, adds to a growing list of nightlife options in the city’s central business district.

Chateau Detroit, 24B W. Adams (on the second level of a two-story building), is on the same block as TAQO, Grand Park Centre, and the Fyfe Apartment Building. Around the corner on Park Street is Cliff Belle’s, Park Bar, Hot Taco, Town Pump Tavern, and Centaur.

Chateau Detroit promoter Kevin Cermack says the establishment offers an extensive VIP bottle service list. Drink options include classics such as a gin and tonic, Whiskey Tango, Moscow Mule, Mojito Castro, as well an array of Martini variations. Appetizers include a charcuterie board, shrimp cocktail, East Coast tacos, jalapeño friti, onion rings, waffle fries, and guacamole.

The club will host different themed parties, including Havana nights, Swanky France, Circus Circus as well as fashion shows, hip art, and themed music such as jazz, Motown, electro swing, Elvis, and various bands. No photography is allowed. Cermack describes the dress code as "elegant" and "chic."

This Saturday, Cermack says the club will host a Saturday Soiree party with Detroit’s DJ Godfather. The club is open from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. every Saturday night.
